Yes, this lift must be bolted to the concrete. Hardware is provided.
We carry many different brands of lifts, and they all make commercial four post lifts, as well as home / hobby four post lifts.
We consider any 4 post lift that is rated at 9,000 pounds capacity or less to be a home / hobby lift, and any lift rated above 9,000 lbs capacity to be a commercial lift.
All home hobby models are designed to be free-standing. They do not have to be bolted down.
All commercial lifts are not designed to be free standing. They must be bolted down.
